CALLING ALL ACTORS!
(experienced or aspiring)
This summer's  play will be the humorous Neil Simon's "Rumors" August 16-19. Rehearsals will start in July. It would be nice to see some "couples" come out, but of course everyone is welcome. Conctact Dawn at 906-297-5808 for more information or to see a copy of the script. No singing, dancing or prior acting experience is necessary. This will be a fun and rewarding experience - give it a try!
EUP Fine Arts Council

Home Page

The purpose of the all volunteer Fine Arts Council is to assist and foster the arts in this underserved rural region of the UP with objectives of bringing performing arts, plays, concerts, dance, exhibits and instrumental programs to the residents and many visitors of the area. The FAC also works to supplement the music and arts programs in local schools and takes pride in the fact that almost all of its income has been used to provide local students with scholarship aide for summer arts programs.

Want to help? Here are areas where you can help your arts community TODAY! Email us at info@eupfac.org if interested.

  • Attend our events! Buy a ticket to a play, go to a concert, come to our fundraisers. You will have a great time, be entertained and will support the arts in the process.
  • Become a member. Our membership provides the basic funds needed to keep us afloat. For only $30/year you can support the arts. Fill out the quick form on the Contact Us page and we'll send you a membership package.
  • Donations. Money is always welcome and you can designate how you want the funds used: building restoration, music purchases, student scholarships...it's up to you. Donations are tax deductible.
  • Donations of gifts: We have a silent auction coming up in mid July and the better the quality of items, the more money we raise. We especially love hand-made artisan type items! So you creative people, think about it. It's a great gift and a great way to get your name out there as an artist.
  • Your time. Come to a meeting and see if there is an area where you are interested in helping: theatre, fundraising events& PR (we could use someone who can write a good press release).
