Winners are recognized as having provide outstanding support and thankless effort throughout the year in our community, not just EUPFAC.
They each received recognition and a limited edition Swarovski Crystal Snowflake Ornament for thanks. Nominations for VOTY come from members of EUPFAC, the board and directors are ineligible. If you have a nomination please email us. We invite a personal or corporate sponsor to donate money toward covering our website hosting and online presence costs, or other costs of our operation. (Examples: PO Box Rental, Newsletter Postage, Program Publication) Please email us if you are interested in supporting this! Thanks in advance. In June 2001, the EUPFAC joined the Sault Area Community Foundation, which is a part of the Michigan Community Foundation. This allows us to partner with this established non-profit group and share resources with them. The Community Foundation builds endowment funds that grow and benefit the community. The principal donated to these endowments are prudently invested so as to produce investment income, which will be used for proactive grant-making in the community. It will allow the Fine Arts Council to apply for state and federal grants to help defray the costs of our programs. This will mean that donations will help go directly towards our mission rather than just cover the costs of putting together events for the community. Being a part of the Community Foundation has advantages for our benefactors as well. Now, all money donated to the EUP Fine Arts Council, including membership fees, is tax deductible. Also, anyone who would like to donate directly to our Community Foundation endowment fund, can take a Michigan Tax Credit for their donation. For more information on the Sault Area Community Foundation, you can go to their website at: www.cmif.org/sault.html
